Media Handler-aware File Upload fail on 6.5.1

Description

Hi,

I've got a problem and I don't know who is the reason. I want to use the Media Fileupload in an easy way:

But it won't upload anything. The component is shown:

The PathBrowser and preview works very well. But I cannot upload any file. Weather by clicking nor by droping.

To get more information I tryed the "granite/ui/components/coral/foundation/form/fileupload" component, which shows a similar problem. I can selected a file, but nothing happens and nothing will be uploaded.

Maybe the is a problem with AEM 6.5 (SP 1)?

Have you issued such a problem?

Maybe this is not a problem with wcm.io at all.

There is no error shown in the error.log or in the javascript console….

Or is there a way to disable Fileuploads in general?

the wcm.io Media Hander FileUpload component by default has the upload capability disabled, see documentation in-file
https://github.com/wcm-io/wcm-io-handler/blob/develop/media/src/main/webapp/app-root/components/granite/form/fileupload/fileupload.jsp

you can enable it by setting allowUpload=true

if you want to further process the uploaded file using media handler you should not override the parameters to store the file in the repository - recommended is omit them so they are chosen by default as configured in the media handler. in your example, remove the "name" parameter.

I tried to include this component via htl

{code}

<sly data-sly-resource="${'./file' @ resourceType='core/wcm/components/image/v2/image'}"></sly>

{code}

This worked like a charm..
