thanks, i've merged it with some modifications (see https://github.com/wcm-io/wcm-io-wcm/commit/8754478a1cf2e49a3905b993f124c14a2a3b09d6).
please cross-check that it still solves your initial problem.

The configScopePathBrowser can't handle missing resources. That can happen if it is used on static components
